Spearheaded the complete project procurement & Strategic Sourcing for Blast Furnace & Sinter Plant at plant Location Anjar.Major Responsibilities Included:-Looking after procurement of Operational Consumables & Refractory procurement of Blast Furnace & Sinter Plant.➢ Looks after the procurement of spares in Mechanical categories of valves, Pipe & pipe fittings ( SS pipes, MS pipes, ERW pipes, Seamless pipes).➢ Major exposure in valve category with development of vendors by developing multiple vendors, reading of Gantt charts etc.➢ Looks after procurement of fluxes ( Limestone, Dolomite, Graphite, Lime, Coke fines) etc for blast furnace & sinter plant.➢ Looks after the procurement of Refractory consumables whyheat A, K, carbon & aluminium grouting materials , LC & high alumina castables 60, 70, 90 etc for Blast Furnace, DI pipes plant.➢ Procurement of Ferro silicon, ferromanganese, Sand ( River sand & silica sands) for Blast Furnace & DIP.➢ Vendor Onboarding & vendor development in the categories.➢ Preparation of sourcing plan with a view to keep in mind at least next 3 years of operation.➢ Placement of ARCs & AMCs in the categories for at least 2 years on either with variable price ARC, fixed price ARCs & ARCs with fixed discount on pricelist.➢ Operational Consumables & tools & tackles procurement for blast furnace , sinter, Coke oven & DI Pipes plant.➢ Strategic sourcing of all the strategic class A items of blast furnace & DI pipes by developing multiple sources & procuring at competitive prices to earn maximum benefit for the company.➢ Comparative sheet & Purchase proposal preparation for approval to process final purchase order in SAP.➢ SAP –MM module & SAP S/4 Hana module experience.➢ Volume based, price based ARC & umbrella contracts to cover regular high value spends to reduce TAT time of procurement.➢ TAT target as per SLA is 7 days to process PR in PO.➢ Complete Spares procurement of E&I Spares & Mechanical Spares for FY 22-23.
