Hello! My name is Rachael, and I'm an experienced communications specialist, journalist and editor. I view storytelling as my life’s work and sharing people’s story as a gift. I am currently the communications specialist at TechTown Detroit, a nonprofit business service organization and Wayne State University's entrepreneurship hub that helps tech startups and small businesses launch, stabilize and grow. There, I use my writing and editing skills to create inspiring content and support communications efforts for TechTown, Hatch Detroit by TechTown, and Wayne State's Division of Entrepreneurship & Economic Development. This includes writing and editing blog posts, planning and producing social media content, and building email newsletters. I am passionate about uplifting Detroit’s entrepreneurs, small businesses and creatives through meaningful storytelling.Prior to joining the TechTown team, I was an associate editor at Hour Detroit magazine.
