Provided per required need coverage for medical assistant and health coordinator roles. Primary responsibilities when providing coverage where to assist with rooming patients, collecting and charting vitals, updating clinical documentation as needed, wound dressing management, referral coordination, placing orders for radiology imaging per clinical procedures, re-stock exam rooms between patients, patient outreach and follow up, and aiding in completion of paperwork.

This position was a direct transfer of roles within a family medicine practice that I completed my internship hours through, from interning MA to CCMA/Medical Assistant II.

Year and a half long temporary position assisting in the transfer of data abstraction and medical recordsfrom several electronic medical record systems to Epic, prior to designated go live. Received recognitionfor accuracy and thoroughness regarding clinical data entry for each clinic assisted and maintained.Direct transfer into the CCMA program in partnership with Centura starting in September 2017, patient care tech role was added in addition to office specialist II role until completion of CCMA program. Well versed in HIPAA compliance, communicating toproviders and other healthcare staff the importance of following hospital and company policies. Assistedthe Release of Information desk with sick person coverage, working with patients on completing records release forms, processing and uploading of release forms to main hub for faxing or mailing of records to patients, providers, and other requesting sources. This role was a PRN and Full Time position through the course of the employment.
