Adam is a Director of Agonis Group, providing advice to rail infrastructure managers and rail contractors on how best to construct brownfield and greenfield rail projects. An award winning permanent way engineer, he is an expert in construction and staging of works in live railway corridors and managing the complex interfaces between design and construction and between the individual disciplines required to bring new infrastructure into operation.Adam has had over 20 years’ experience in railway infrastructure design, construction, maintenance, asset management and project management including:• Permanent way construction• Signalling and electrification• Scope definition and design management• Design & construction interface• Interdisciplinary co-ordination• Constructability, value engineering, risk and opportunity management and innovation• Asset management• Development and introduction of new and improved work methods and technology.Adam is an author and presenter of the Insight into Track Engineering course developed by the Railway Technical Society of Australasia and Australasian Railway Association and has published and presented papers to the Permanent Way Institution of NSW and the Institute of Railway Signal Engineers.
