Engaged by DTP to conduct asset inspections of over 2000 tram and train assets to provide an independent assessment of the network condition to inform proponent bids on the upcoming MR5 tram and train franchise renewals. Coordinated inspection teams by analysing distribution of assets to improve inspection efficiency and achieve the high standard expected by the client.Responsibilities• Use of ArcGIS for spatial analysis of assets and asset allocation to inspectors;• Improvements through data events & scripting in inspection software to reduce the room for human error during inspections and level of back end QA;• Developed PowerBI dashboards for planning, reporting to client and QA of data outputs;• Management and coordination of up to 7 inspection teams concurrently;• Interface with stakeholders including MTM, DTP & Yarra Trams as well as project partners WGA and Cerecon;• Prepare permit to foul (PTF) applications to allow inspections of critical assets within MTM rail occupations; and• Comprehensive understanding of 36 Asset Condition Assessment Guidelines (ACAGs) including 57 asset classes across all disciplines of rail infrastructure.

Delivered works as site engineer on the Pound Rd West portion of the Pound Rd West Bridge Project with Seymour Whyte as part of Major Roads Projects Victoria’s (MRPV) Surburban Roads Upgrade (SRU) program. Core focus was on delivery of pavements including earthworks, formation and asphalt construction.Responsibilities• Procurement, coordination and management of subcontractors & materials;• Cost and productivity tracking & forecasting (utilising PowerBI);• Project planning and program preparation; • Communication with client (MRPV) and site surveillance officers; and• Quality assurance through specification conformance during delivery & closeout of ITPs;

Key member of the Agonis Group Constructability Advisory Services (CAS) team for North East Link Program, completing complex and detailed package-wide constructability assessments on Secondary Packages 2 and 4. Assessment scope included analysis of road-structure interfaces, preparation of construction staging and program, and project reporting.Responsibilities• Construction methodology development in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs);• Preparation of detailed traffic switch construction sequence staging plans;• First principles quantity take-off for estimation of activity durations and productivities; and• Presentation of constructability findings to the NELP senior leadership team

Managed rail interface between Seymour Whyte (SWC), MTM Third Party Projects, WPA CLU and other work groups on the Cranbourne/Pakenham lines for New Pound Road West Bridge and Frankston-Dandenong Rd Bridge Rehabilitation Projects for MRPV of Suburban Roads Upgrade (SRU) program.Responsibilities• Assist SWC to gain the necessary MTM approvals in terms of design, engineering, and delivery;• Book and coordinate the application of all Site Access Permits & Occupations on behalf of the Project, submitting Permit to Fouls into MTM Infrastructure or Projects Occupation;• Attending Occupation Clash Mitigation on behalf of SWC to understand the clashes and interface with other work group;• Develop and implement the Rail Occupation Management Plan;• Ensure adequate resources are in place to support the scheduled Safeworking track force protection requirements;• Facilitate rail risk assessments during works planning phase and review at commencement of actual works to confirm adequacy of protection arrangements;• Responsible for works readiness and occupation planning;• The production of rail resource rosters;

Engaged by the AECOM-GHD Technical Advisory on behalf of LXRP to undertake a constructability assessment of the works involved in establishing a paid interchange connection between the SRLA and MMRN networks at Southland Station on the Frankston line. Project scope involved relocation of existing platform structures, replacement of the Bay Rd rail-over bridge, track lifts and all associated rail systems and overhead wiring modifications associated with the works.Responsibilities:• Development of a construction methodology for each of the proposed design options in collaboration with subject matter experts (SME).• Preparation of construction programs to determine construction duration and critical path.• Monitor and manage internal project budget and resourcing.• Report and present to client and cost estimators (Building and utilising PowerBI project dashboards).

Provided constructability advisory services for several project business cases:• Waurn Ponds Duplication Stage 3 (WPD3)• Bendigo Metro Stage 4 (BM4)• Outer Regional Rail Program Phase 1 (ORR1)Advice provided included:• Review of track alignments, bridge and tunnel designs to suggest potential modification to achieve a more efficient construction methodology.• Development of construction programs to minimise disruptions to rail operations and the general public. - including potential modifications to design to achieve this.• Successfully suggested an alternative tunnel alignment for WPD3 to reduce projected occupation durations by over 500 days.• Development of construction methodologies to minimise environmental impact of construction works and potential design modifications to improve this outcome.• Successfully suggested an alternative bridge alignment for WPD3 to minimise ecological impact and disruption to river flows.• Assist cost estimators to develop an accurate cost estimate based on our construction programs and methodologies.

Assisted the V/Line Major Periodic Maintenance (MPM) delivery manager in planning and delivering the MPM annual works program consisting of $130m of works.Responsibilities• PowerBI dashboarding of MPM database for use by the MPM Delivery Manager; • Assess MPM database and interface with development team to gather additional information about work packages; and • Interface with delivery project managers and assist in assigning works packages for the 2021 AWP.

Complete track renewal of tightest curve in the Metro network (110m-135m) radius with Metro Trains Melbourne's Infra team as site engineer. Involved scrapping of existing 53kg rail and timber sleepers, excavation of ballast & formation. Full replacement with fresh capping, geogrid, geotextile, ballast, low profile and full depth check rail sleepers and 60kg rail.Consisted of 408m of total track renewal over a 8 day occupation delivering approximately $2.5m of works.Responsibilities• Developed detailed hour-by-hour occupation construction program; • Maintained program throughout occupation with actuals, utilised by PM to interface with WPA occupation manager to allow works to proceed past critical hold points; • Managed site establishment, administration, and identification & reporting of incidents & defects; • Ordering of required materials, booking resources via MTM ARMS system; and • Preparation of red line drawings.

Exner group is an engineering consultancy and registered training organisation.Notable accomplishments in this role have included:• Team member in the development of a virtual reality train driving platform for Metro Trains Melbourne and Metro Trains Australia to be integrated into existing driver training. Ran a new co-curricular technology program by Mentone Grammar as a result of my significant knowledge and experience with 3D printing and other technology demonstrated in my primary role.
