Its main functions include mobility management, session management, packet routing and transfer, CDR generation and output,SMS, CAMEL, Lawful Interception and QoS management. Huawei Technologies is world’s largest network components manufacturer. Basically they manufacture Routers, Switches and SGSNs (Signalling Gateway Support Node). I was sole responsible for testing SGSN whose main purpose was to manage customer information and Billing. The key feature of this project was the client had their own test environment and hence the testing team had to work at onsite.
