I am an accomplished executive with extensive expertise in real estate development and operations. Throughout my career, I have held diverse roles, including Project Manager, Development Manager, Development Director, and owner of a construction company. This broad exposure has given me a comprehensive understanding of the entire development process—from site acquisition and entitlements to build-out and sale or management. My experience spans residential, industrial, and heavy civil construction, allowing me to address both the big picture and operational intricacies in real estate ventures.I began my career with a major general contractor in Washington, DC, where I participated in a rigorous engineer training program, gaining hands-on experience in estimating, purchasing, and field operations. I then transitioned to a startup real estate development firm, where I managed the renovation of brownstone buildings into high-end condos while pursuing a Master’s in Real Estate part-time.When the opportunity to develop my own real estate project in Panama City, Panama arose, I seized it, leading to the creation of Fortaleza Construction. Initially focused on single-family homes, the company rapidly grew, delivering over 1,000 residential units and employing more than 150 staff. As market dynamics shifted, I pivoted the business to focus on higher-margin civil infrastructure work, including earthworks, utilities, and large-scale structures.Most recently, I returned to the U.S., taking on the role of Development Director for a regional land development firm. In this position, I oversaw land acquisitions, entitlements, and development projects, including shovel-ready land sales, master-planned communities, and build-to-rent projects in Georgia.This diverse background allows me to bring a unique combination of strategic vision and operational execution to any real estate development venture.
