I manage the specialist young people’s substance misuse service, commissioned by Lancashire County Council. - I am responsible for the delivery and development of high-quality services (both clinical and non-clinical) for children and young people with drug & alcohol issues, and their loved ones.- In recent years I have overseen the expansion of the service with additional work streams supplementing the main contract. This has included a young people’s Smoke free service, adult recovery Family Safeguarding roles, lead roles within CYJS and exploitation teams, a specialist schools team, and the introduction of a CBT practitioner.- For the past few years I have worked with the YP director and business support professionals to prepare the service for re-commissioning, this was successful with the service retaining the contract for a further seven year period.- I engage with relevant stakeholders and forums to ensure the service and WithYou are known positively and have a high profile within the county. I also lead on a number of strategic sub groups e.g. the Prevention sub group of the Lancashire combating drugs partnership, and a YP sub-group of the co-occurring conditions strategic steering group.- I work collaboratively with local partners and senior staff in the Operations Directorate to deliver high-quality services for clients that are in line with WithYou business strategy and local business plans- Within this role, I lead and manage the staff within designated teams to ensure staff are well informed, inspired, and engaged with the strategic objectives of WithYou and that a cohesive culture is developed.- As the service safeguarding lead I ensure there is a robust risk management process in place, including incident review, safeguarding audits, and lead on a complex case clinic.- I am experienced in the management of the service finances, managing a number of budgets covering various funding streams.

- My role was to lead a team of family and neighbourhood outreach workers delivering support for parents and families within a neighbourhood centre.- I supported the delivery of Early Help provision for children and families through 1-1 and group work programmes in the East Lancashire area.- I provided Line management, supervision, case review and safeguarding oversight of casework.

- My role was to lead a team providing additional value to the core young people’s substance misuse service. - Roles included Family Worker, YP Recovery Worker, Resilience program facilitators, I also coordinated the Outreach programme for the service across Lancashire.- Within this role I provided local management of partnership work with the Amy Winehouse Foundation, and liaised with grant fund providers such as Children in Need.
