Subsystem included precision 1 DOF gimbal and passive thermal control.•Technical Director: mod 20 Tuning Fork Gyroscope (TFG20) – Developed near navigation grade MEMS gyroscope and supporting electronics with 0.0065°/√hr angle random walk, verified earth-rate measurement capability•Principal Investigator: 10ng/√Hz seismic instrument - System architect for MEMS seismic instrument. Analysis and design of all aspects of the sensor control electronics, including feed back control law which allows resonant frequency mitigation without perturbing Brownian limit. •Task Lead: Extreme Accuracy Tasked Ordnance (EXACTO) - Precision guided 50-caliber bullet. Developed on bullet alternator based regulated power system to supply on board ARM u-controller and torque control guidance authority. Verified resolution performance to better than 20fT/√Hz with 80Hz bandwidth.•Developed and implemented Trans-impedance amplifier architecture to intrinsically linearize capacitive gap readout.•Developed and implemented radiation hard readout for strategic grade pendulous integrating gyroscopic accelerometer (PIGA). •Designed and integrated external control electronics for successful 100 day stability test of PIGA.

Mechanical transfer functions / mass, stiffness, damping, capacitance, etc.•Inertial instrument system integration, test and performance verification.•Designed and implemented 6 DOF inertial, 3 DOF magnetometer and data system for Ballistic Trajectory Extended Guided Munitions (BTERM). •Task Lead: Trans-ionosphereic sensing system (TISS) – Integration and test of system which employees GPS signals to characterize degradation effects of ionosphere scintillation on GPS accuracy.
