Primary contact for plant capital projects. Responsible for the “startup” and “close out” phase of projects. Work closely with all project stakeholders. Responsible for assuring on site contractors are working safely and efficiently. Obtain proper work permits (hot work, confined space), verifying JHA’s (Job Hazard Analysis), and managing field change orders.Key Accomplishments•Managed $100K Project to install Bug Screens on all roof points of penetration •Managed tank inspections project (over 40 vessels) for 2 week plant shut down•Managed over 40 capital project close outs for plant records within 1 year planned time•Provide support with Auto CAD P&ID creation for various processes.

Conduct research and development on new government solicitations, and all R & D work on new composites for rocket nozzles and jet engines. Write summaries of the research work done on projects for the engineering staff to review. Part of the team that developed a process for cryogenic milling of Magnesium and Magnesium alloys for replacing Beryllium. Set up procedures on how to use new equipment and materials while performing validation activities.
