I started off with a background in Finance and topped it off with a MBA in Marketing but in the end I found out that data drives all our decisions. I have used data driven decisions to impact growth and response rates which ended up in driving sales up for six straight quarters. I have realized that one tool does not fit every solution so I try to use which ever technology works best to get the right results for actionable items. For instance, when presented with a group of dirty data recently I used the simple tool of Google Sheets to clean, process, pivot and extract the conclusions directly into a presentation with recommendations on how to improve user interactions with customers for retention. There was no need to use R, Python or Big Query because it wasn't the right tool. The ultimate goal is to present the findings in a clear method so action may be taken on the insights.I have some limited background in programming Python, and I have used HTML/CSS to build websites before with a knowledge of managing Linux servers. I love the integrations of these tools because they all provide us with the raw data which then can be analyzed and all those DOS and terminal prompts are fun to use!For fun I'm a proud nerd.
