I directed teams of 12-30 developers, BI analysts, manager, supervisor, and operational reporting staff to design/execute ETL processes for moving data from a transactional system to a data warehouse. I supported and managed all commercial applications including claims processing and Oracle Financials, while managing a multimillion-dollar business-intelligence budget. I also ensured data integrity and supported corporate reporting and analytics. At DentaQuest, I was promoted from applications-services supervisor to manager of application development and enterprise reporting in 2009, and to manager of business intelligence in 2011.I assumed leadership of a reporting/BI team that was not meeting its full potential, reorganized the management structure, developed a new architectural/technical plan, hired additional resources, and drove implementation, laying the strategic and operational foundations for DentaQuest’s business-intelligence domain.* Conceived, obtained funding for, and led the design and development of a self-service reporting environment that freed developers from report-creation requests and allowed business users to access data directly as needed.* Cut the number of open support tickets from 600 to 50 and collaborated with stakeholders to develop an improved support-request process.* Led the development of a key strategic ETL data warehouse that supported larger internal data needs and mandatory outside-client reporting requirements.

In these roles, I led to up 20 technology reports supporting both home-office and ~160 warehouse-club systems while meeting strict SLAs. I also drove the cloning of all necessary systems to support a new restaurant-supply venture and delivered on-time against an aggressive schedule—with no additional resources—while continuing to support 24/7 uptime of our existing sales and inventory systems.
