- Global responsibilities across HR covering an estimated total workforce of 280,000. Based in the UK, London, Canary Wharf - Delivered a multi-year GDPR programme for HR including alignment to HSBC group policies and procedures. This included capturing a full record of processing and lawful use for the HR function, establishing a rights of individuals support model, embedding third party contract negotiation requirements, delivering consistency in the HR data privacy notices definition and support model - Defined a HR Data Dictionary for data elements processed within the HR function considering rules and measures for critical processes, consumers and integrations. I issue managed key areas of improvements to the architecture and standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and compliance within the bank - Implemented a global communication approach for asking all workers and managers at the bank to check key self-service data elements to improve the accuracy of processes the bank and the individuals rely upon - Determined and implemented a strategy for global HR data governance including committee structure and data stewardship which reports into the most senior boards at the bank. This strategy extrapolates out bank wide to future proof against further expanding regulatory expectations in other countries setting an HSBC HR best practice
