Information Technology Operations Manager
I was accountable for leading financial collections firm specializing in the transportation industry, including air, sea, and ground services. I orchestrated all IT functions, including system administration, software development, and telecommunications support for the entire operation. I deftly developed Business Analytics toolsets, algorithms, and processes to discover, match and process data for clients based upon recurring patterns discovered during normal daily operations. I oversaw all EDI import/export operations, including implementing, deploying, and maintaining servers supporting data exchange between clients and firms. I tracked and managed project requirements supporting IT initiatives, reporting directly to CFO and CEO. I implemented a new client strategy resulting in $1,500,000 net profit/year by designing and implementing new processes that allowed the company to service clients in a new financial services area. I significantly improved document flows by developing and implementing an in-house document management application that included converting, cataloging, and linking documents for instant retrieval and submission. I administered all network-related tasks that consisted of security, antivirus, firewalls, switches, routers, servers, and workstations. I assigned and implemented company-wide security and engagement policies, including security assessments and compliance. I achieved annual cost savings with a 95% reduction in document delivery times by integrating an existing custom application with external technology to provide instantaneous viewing, printing, and distribution of entity-specific documents. I accomplished a 50% reduction in IT employee expenses by designing and deploying a cost-effective and efficient EDI Toolkit that streamlined and automated EDI (import/export) procedures across operations.
