As a senior developer at CGI, I design and implement new features for the Sovera 10 product. My responsibilities extend to every layer of the stack: a proprietary JavaScript/HTML5 single-page app framework on the client, ASP.NET Web Forms and WCF (both C#) on the server, IBM FileNet P8 platform for content storage and related workflows, and an Oracle database. As a member of the Sovera 10 team, I also: * Work with others in a globally-distributed sprint team to quickly iterate on the product using an agile/Scrum methodology. Deliver well-tested, shippable code at the end of every sprint.* Moderate sprint retrospectives to ensure each teammate can participate in an open, constructive dialogue. Shape feedback into concrete action items for the team to implement in the following sprint.* Work closely with clients and support staff to diagnose and resolve production issues in a timely fashion. Incorporate their feedback into technical architecture recommendations in order to improve the installation, configuration, and administration of the product. * Travel on-site when a client rolls out new software to ensure a smooth go-live.
