Managed the subsurface investigation and remediation of 12 Indiana LUST retail gasoline stations in northern Indiana. Project sites were administered under the IDEM Excess Liability Trust Fund (ELTF). • Provided third party oversight for a NOx emission study to achieve permit compliance and validate purchase liability for a coke oven battery. Project goals evaluated battery reversal/non-reversal operations and emission measurement techniques. Permit criteria were met, client was able to sell the operation, employees were retained, and $225 million in savings were realized.• Provided senior leadership for air source testing, 40 CFR Part 60 wet methods and continuous emissions monitoring (CEM) and Part 75 CEM RATA certifications.
