Offshore Support Surveyor within the UKBU Operations Support Department.Onshore role:Tender review, providing survey expertise in preparation of survey equipment specifications and costings to the Project Teams.- Reviewing of subcontractor procedures ensuring compliance with vessel specificities and characteristics.- Support to Offshore Support Surveyors for offshore operations.- Management of Purchase Orders for survey equipment hire, pre and post project. - Provision of replacement survey equipment specifications for Technip Vessels.- QC and review of As-Built reporting and data issued by survey subcontractors.- Liaising with clients and subcontractors in support of survey and positioning related issues. - Preparation of internal Technip UK survey procedures.Offshore Role:- As an Offshore Surveyor and Party Chief my role was to support survey operations on and provide assistance to Project Surveyors, Project Engineers and Shift Supervisors as well as record and maintain data logs and compile weekly reports.- Installation, calibrations and checks of all survey systems on board, with a responsibility to perform all positioning and navigation tasks according to survey specifications, project and client requirements.- Overseeing the delivery of survey operations throughout the Deep Energy's 2016 Pipelay campaigns.

Offshore Surveyor working on a worldwide basis on a variety of job scopes including, Flexible and Rigid Pipelay, Subsea Structure Installation, Multibeam Survey, Jacket Installation with the use of both USBL and LBL positioning.Operationally competant in the use of Winfrog, Eiva Navipac, SRD SVS (NCS survey in-house acquisition and processing software), Visualsoft Processing and Acquisition Suite, Autochart and AutoCAD.

Data Processing and Charting as part of the projects team based in the Aberdeen Office. - This role varied between Multibeam processing using Visualsoft, Preparing Navigation files in Autocad and Creating and Updating field overview charts for construction and rig move projects.- Web Design and Marketing. One of my key roles during my first 18 months at NCS survey was to develop promotion material including brochures, Exhibition stand, Exhibition banners, and creation of a new company website.

Based in the Intech Power, Banchory office as part of an extended third year university placement.As a junior design engineer my role within the company was to: - Create design drawings for new accommodation modules for offshore installations with AutoCAD.- During this period I worked on the design of a four man accommodation module following Norwegian design regulations. The module was then put into production as a highly versatile road transportable unit.- Contributed in establishing the companies Quality Management System in order to gain ISO: 9001 accreditation.- I also completed quantitative material take offs for design project and placed material and component orders with suppliers.
