I participated in collaborative and collegial improvement of the free encyclopedia that anyone can edit. I contributed to myriad topic areas, such as Catholic bishops, the Eastern Christian Churches, celebrities of film and television, fantasy franchises, medieval European history, and most notably, anti-vandalism and copyright patrols.My edits often took the form of incremental improvement, according to the Manual of Style, and policies such as verifiability, biographies, and neutrality. I strove to take a disinterested stance on many controversial and sensitive topics, in order to write about them neutrally and impassively, according to the consensus of the English Wikipedia.A large part of my duties included warning disruptive or malicious users, compiling evidence, and ultimately filing reports to request administrative action. I also sought to build consensus and amicably resolve editing disputes, by avenues such as RFCs, noticeboard posts, and the BRD edit cycle.In 13 years, I logged over 60,000 edits, including my use of automated tools to mitigate disruption. I was active not only on the English project, but I also reported media copyright problems at Commons, and visited foreign wikis as necessary, such as Spanish, Italian, Greek, Catalan, Arabic, Hebrew, Russian, etc.

We sang the Catholic Mass in a 4-12 person mixed-voice adult choir (men and women).We participated in Holy Week (Palm Sunday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday celebration of the Lord's Passion, and Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday); we supported at least two annual public Eucharistic processions; and with special guests, St. Daniel's choir presented a special 100th anniversary concert in honor of Our Lady of Fátima.Our music styles ranged from contemporary/gospel songs to traditional SATB hymnody, to Gregorian chant and antiphons set in sacred polyphony (composed in-house by Mr. Richard Walters).We were accompanied by church organ or grand piano, or we chanted a cappella.

Beginning as timid landlubber with only a tattered bandana to my name, I worked my way through the ranks to Senior Officer of the crew, and Lord, then Prince of the flag.I invested in assets such as seaworthy vessels for battle and commerce, cozy homes to store my priceless booty and furniture, but most importantly, hearties and crewmates who were fiercely loyal, diligent, and incredibly talented.In 2006, I was awarded the governance of Amity Island, after our flag conquered it in a hotly-contested blockade at sea. I managed the Fort and shady iron monger shoppe, turning a weekly 5-digit profit for the coffers of our flag, League of Light. Leveraging this thriving business, I also expanded my multi-archipelago chain of distilleries. The crown jewel of my empire was a shipbuilding stall, where I managed a cadre of puzzle-laborers who turned out more seaworthy vessels, bludgeons for carousing and pillaging, and even lifeboats. I would go on to capture and govern Amity once again in 2008.While finely honing my e-commerce skills at the shoppes, I never neglected pillaging of the High Seas, on the lookout for nasty Brigands who meant to plunder our booty before we plundered theirs! Intrinsic to these adventures was my management of human resources and ship supplies; when we docked to split the proceeds of our plunders, new volunteers clamored to permanently join our crew. As blockade navigator, I served in no fewer than five climactic, epic battles for control.I was honored twice by Ocean Masters for my technical chops and supporting other players with an active presence in the forums. For several years, I actively participated on the beta ocean server.In 2008, I co-founded a crew and flag with my fiancée, and we soon rose to #2 in fame, oceanwide, as well as top-ten ratings in four reputation categories. Our fearless Queen was a renowned blockade admiral, and we led our flag to glorious victory over rivals, capturing 3 islands during our salad days.

Special Ministries.I served to help feed, clothe, house, and heal people who were suffering. One client came to us in Special Ministries, having secured stable employment, and he requested our assistance with his transportation needs.He had arrived on foot, but he was blessed to depart on a refurbished, reliable bicycle, grateful to have effective transportation to and from his workplace!I was also blessed to connect with Arizona residents who needed assistance with their utility bills from the APS power company.I collected their contact information and reached out by phone, to help assure their safety and security, with reliable electrical service at home.

I served as a receptionist for a large, urban, Roman Catholic parish community.I earned positive annual performance reviews from my supervisor, and encouragement from our pastor.I verified, maintained, and updated parish sacramental records and our event calendars; updated and expanded our Wordpress-based website, and updated and audited family records, using our PDS database system on Microsoft Windows 7.I served as Gift Shop clerk, and submitted weekly countout sheets for proceeds from sales.I planned, led, and successfully completed a 3-week project to liquidate confidential data from decommissioned Windows desktop computers, chiefly using Derek's Boot and Nuke (DBAN) secure-deletion software.
