I started on second shift as an operator in CNC. Two months later the supervisor put in a two week notice. The operations manager at the time Phil Foster ask me to take the position. At that time it consisted of only five others on night shift. I remained at that position for three years and felt that my soon to be teenage daugter needed more of my attention at home. So I gave up the position to go back on the tool box in the CNC area. After one year the scheduling job was offered and I took it. I was using a scheduling software called "JobTime" . Later switching and implamenting the current scheduling system called "JobPack". I did take over as manager of the planning group for a period of two years from 2007 till 2009 when job decrease's and management changes happened and I was let go for eleven months. I was re-called and asked to come back at first to fill an inspectors position. Then was approched by HR and upper management before starting and was ask to train the incoming new planning manager on JobPack and other systems before taking the inspection position. After meeting with the new manager we became best of friends and I am doing the shop scheuduler for him still after the last four years to current date.

I worked in one of the first CNC Cells with robotics for the time. It consisted of eight Cincinnatti Millicron Mills with two Dea CMC's. We had a ASRS "automatic storage and retreival systems" for the tool crib. All the machines were unmanned and I held the position of "Rover". Started off running engine mounts for the C-130's in the manual department. After my probation period on second shift I was given a position on days. Within a few months the supervisor on days approched me with an offer to go back to second shift as a leadman. This was a big increase in pay and position so I inquired as to the reason. He stated that from the time that I had left that the person replacing me had killed all the engine mounts and that rather than explain what I was doing different that he wanted me to go and fill this position. I did so and explained that the set up sheets were wrong and if followed would end in scrapped parts. My duty's were to assign work to the different work centers including ( NC machines, manual machines, tracers, and deburr / detail workers ). Also to work with the supervisor hands on, to expidite any hot orders needed.
