The software was required to meet FDA regulations with respect to patient confidentiality and transaction auditing. Using primarily ASP.NET, C# .NET, SQL Server, and Javascript, combined intranet web pages and Windows Forms applications, with some applications interfacing PLCs and radiation detection equipment. Responsibilities include: -Full-Stack software development -Product Design and documentation -Facilitating multiple department heads and developers through all phases of the project -Managing all meetings on behalf of Empiric Design -Requirements, business & risk analysis -Installation of the system -Maintenance and upgrades•Lead developer of an ASP application tracking employee training for a medical device company, enabling the customer to schedule and plan required training for their employees to meet FDA regulatory requirements.•Lead developer of an MVC web application for a company specializing in balancing conservation with land investment and ownership. The site allowed land owners to purchase conservation credits in certain areas to offset land usage in other areas.•As part of a team, developed front and back ends of a school photo website, allowing parents to re-order school portraits, both as traditional prints and on gift items such as mugs, ornaments, etc. Given children’s photos were involved, helped design and implement an encryption system allowing parents to view their child’s photos while preventing unauthorized persons. Also developed SQL Server Reports to feed data back to the customer’s marketing team and financial team.•As part of a team, helped develop and implement a “print-to-store” back end solution allowing users to upload their pictures to a website, and pick up the printed copies at their local Target store.

Software engineer on Internal Tools Team •Sole engineer developing an internal messaging system used for Growth Marketing and to help drive user engagement. Coded in GoLang to develop services and dashboards. -Coded in GoLang with a PostgreSQL datasource to create a queuing service to allow messaging jobs to be scheduled in both an automated and an ad-hoc manner. -Created a dashboard with Handlebars.js templating and a GoLang back-end, providing the ability to send millions of push notifications per job to users based on criteria such as last seen time frame, location, app version, and/or platform (iOS, Android). These messages provided the ability to drive engagement and to A/B test copy to best connect with users. -Created services to track the most up-to-date information about users, initially storing information in Redshift, then re-writing to BigQuery. •Using GoLang, nodejs, and cloud services on both AWS and GCP, maintained and developed a data transformation pipeline capturing upwards of 20M data points per day and storing data in Redshift and BigQuery databases. -Programmed in GoLang to create services to daily aggregate up to 500M user activities by event, date and location. -In GoLang, created a dashboard to analyze usage rates daily, weekly, and monthly providing an ability to view and/or filter this information by location and event, giving the community team prioritization abilities.
