• Managed start up and continuous operations of facility and operations of the Target 1.4 million square foot distribution warehouse in Cornwall Ontario. • Responsible for Hiring, Developing and Evaluating a highly motivated team of 4 Maintenance Supervisors, 12 Skilled Trades, 15 Maintenance workers and 2 Work Order Coordinators• Build schedules, CMMS program , financial budgets and contracts with vendors• Negotiated new maintenance contracts for Mechanical, electrical, HVAC, access control, janitorial and other services and ensured compliance to terms of contract• Working with contractors to ensure all work is completed to standard and within budget• Manage all aspects of maintaining the facility, equipment and property ensuring all regulatory requirements and inspections are managed and reported to GM and Client• Put procedure and practices in place to ensure that the facility passed regulatory and safety audits.• Continually worked with supervisory and hourly staff to ensure development and training, (Certified member of JHSC)• Liaison with landlords and customers and followed up on requested work and services.• Facilitated highest levels of service to support operation teams through checks, proactive staff planning, hiring and scheduling, and using temporary help.• Accountable for efficiency and cost reduction in asset, inventory and labor management.• Responsible for the design, implementation, and evaluation of all preventative and reactive maintenance programs on facility equipment to ensure that all equipment is operating at the highest possible levels of safety and efficiency.• Ensured repairs and preventative maintenance on all facility equipment (conveyors, powered and manual material handling equipment, HVAC system, electrical systems, fire protection systems, elevators and life safety) is carried out in an appropriate manner to ensure the continuity, safety, and efficiency of operations.

Organized and developed a highly motivated and productive team of dedicated tradesmen & team members . Developed and managed serveral process improvements. Overseen serveral major construction projects within the facility as well as all aspects of maintaining the 1.34 mil. sq.ft. building and 18 km. of automated conveyor systems.

Managed all aspects of the 1.5 mil sq. ft. catalogue distribution center in Belleville Ont. including the addition of a 1000 seat 85,000 sq. ft. call center.
