Assist Group Director of Operations in delivering company strategy and wider group expansion plans Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for Profit & Loss within a business area with a turnover of more than £80m per annum Operational lead in the setting up of environmental services JV partnership from initial meeting, through financial and legal negotiations to mobilisation and set up Drive business growth alongside the group Director of Operations & Norse group Sales Team, liaising with new and potential new customers Developing a robust business plans and budgets in conjunction with the relevant Operations Directors Assisting in the development of the strategic partnership interface between the local authority and the company Managing corporate risk and business continuity across the environmental service portfolio • Identifying and managing JV efficiency reviews Continuously develop an understanding of all aspects of the business • Deputising for the group Director of Operations.

My role in the organisation was to develop a Commercial Services Business Unit within Environmental Services. Introduce new staff structures, back office systems and a service delivery network via municipal depots. I was responsible to;• Develop a Sales strategy with regional and Contract management• Support our bid development team in all new Environmental Services opportunities• Seek out and develop new geographical areas to diversify and differentiate our Unique Selling Point• Develop a full proposal strategy from initial inquiry to deal closure and handover, management, invoicing, service delivery and key performances• Perform initial risk evaluation and determine feasibility and bid compliance concerns• Work in many geographical areas and collaborates with the regional teams• Communicates and leads multi-functional teams• Coordinate with various internal teams in completing the proposal on high complexity opportunities – region, sales, finance, execution, risk, legal, service delivery, etc
