• Launched new hybrid SBC/Transcoding solution on Sonus Network Border Switch which carved 30% of cost out of design and simplified call-flow for operational efficiency
• Deployed Empirix XMS platform as a tool for managing SIP trunking business as a replacement to Tektronix GEOPROBE

• Duties included Development and Sustaining Engineering responsibilities for both the VOIP and Conferencing networks. In this role my team led design efforts and standards definition in support of network growth as well.
• Deployed 1st Acme Packets Session Border Controller into GC network in Q3 2003 to support SIP interconnection with Carriers and Enterprises.
• Selected Pactolus as a new Event Conferencing platform to replace manufacture discontinued Polycom Allegro solution. Deployed in Q2 2007 after 18 month development effort
• Development efforts on Sonus network led to decomm of 1st Alcatel DEX600E in Global Crossing network in May 2003 which saved company an estimated $10M in space and power costs as well as marked companies full.
• Drove significant cost savings with multiple vendors by negotiating new price/port rates as well as maintenance cost discounts
