My name is Robert, and I'm an ordinary guy. I could go on about what sets me apart from the rest of the world that is looking for a job, but in a sense I am no different. Just another guy trying to find his place and be able to support myself and my family. My aspirations include owning my own business someday, in which I would like to own a nightclub. Although somewhat unorthodox from most people's desired careers, I have a love for music only matched by my family and friends. So owning my own club is the only way I feel that I can combine these two passions. Now with that being said, I do understand that the milestones to such a feat are extensive if I plan to have a successful business venture. I plan to continue my education into fields such as computer technologies, music, and of course business/management. Due to a lack in finances, I have yet to continue my education, but hope to soon change that through the uses of student aid and the Life Scholarship program. I am ex military, although I'd rather not compare myself to other soldiers because I was merely a soldier in the Army Reserve for a few years. In that opportunity however, I learned some things that I never would have imagined if it weren't for the Army. I also have some experience working on small engines, such as servicing lawn mowers, tillers, and pretty much most landscaping equipment. However, my job details were not limited to that as I was also responsible for handling a lot of paperwork, good customer service, and selling equipment. Another job I had was working as a meat cutter for the deli/meat department of a small country store/restaurant. I've done landscaping for a while as well, doing commercial and private lawn maintenance. What it all boils down to; I'm a hard worker looking for a place to get my foot in the door. My ambition and perseverance will kick it open.

Sales/Deliveries/Equipment ServicingAaro Rental Ctr Mar 2014 - Dec 2014I dealt with a lot of paperwork; when equipment came in for repairs, ordering parts for the company, when the equipment was finished with repairs or if there was an estimate for the repair, in which I personally contacted customers and would give them an explanation of said repairs or estimates, filing contracts for customers when a piece of equipment was rented out and making sure that contract was properly dealt with upon return of the equipment.I also handled deliveries every Wednesday, for instance, if a customer was too elderly or had no means of transporting the equipment they needed repaired, i would go and pick up the equipment in the company provided vehicle and safely bring it back to the shop for needed repairs. Once repairs were completed, I then took the equipment back to the customer. And lastly, of my responsibilities in that company, sales were the most important. You're looking at anywhere from a $1.50 bottle of gas/oil mix to a $10,000 commercial quality Zero Turn radius lawn mower. It was my job to convince the customer that this is the equipment they're looking for while providing excellent customer service, giving them the sense that we are there to help them with everything they needed from us. -
Private First Class/E3U.S. Army Reserve May 2009 - Jul 2012In the USAR, I completed Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. After training, I was assigned to the 414th Chemical Company in Orangeburg, SC. In the military, I learned things such as weapon maintenance, how to maintain the stock room and keep track of what goes out and what comes in, field navigation, maintaining physical fitness, emergency combat medic training, and the importance of working as a unit to reach the common goal. -

Meat Cutter/Grocery StockMr. Bunky'S Grocery/Restaurant Jan 2011 - Apr 2011At Mr. Bunky's, my responsibilities included that of an ordinary convenience store as well as being a meat cutter. I swept and mopped the store area, and I restocked the groceries and livestock feed. Every morning it was my job to slice a large rack of bacon, grind the sausage and ground beef, and cube the steaks. After my morning routine, customers would start to come in where I would then greet them and assist with what they needed. I was also in charge of handling the deli needs and cutting steaks for customers and the restaurant, which is connected to the store.
