Sales/Deliveries/Equipment Servicing
I dealt with a lot of paperwork; when equipment came in for repairs, ordering parts for the company, when the equipment was finished with repairs or if there was an estimate for the repair, in which I personally contacted customers and would give them an explanation of said repairs or estimates, filing contracts for customers when a piece of equipment was rented out and making sure that contract was properly dealt with upon return of the equipment.I also handled deliveries every Wednesday, for instance, if a customer was too elderly or had no means of transporting the equipment they needed repaired, i would go and pick up the equipment in the company provided vehicle and safely bring it back to the shop for needed repairs. Once repairs were completed, I then took the equipment back to the customer. And lastly, of my responsibilities in that company, sales were the most important. You're looking at anywhere from a $1.50 bottle of gas/oil mix to a $10,000 commercial quality Zero Turn radius lawn mower. It was my job to convince the customer that this is the equipment they're looking for while providing excellent customer service, giving them the sense that we are there to help them with everything they needed from us.
