Conversion support for converting Boeing from PeopleSoft to Workday

Using Peoplesoft 8.50 toolset to develop a custom Government Invoicing System to work with the PS Financials. Designed, developed and tested an new cost voucher product.

responsible for 5 programmers converting the previous Boeing/McDonnell Douglas Training system into the new PeopleSoft ELMS application. Used the Lean and Agile Methodology to report on the status of the conversion. Made modifications to the ELMS to allow for Boeing specific changes.Performed Troubleshooting and presentations to management on solutions to technical problems not previously found in testing.Currently working as the Lead person on Interface development for the remaining Boeing Training systems being converted into ELMS.

Working on the PeopleSoft Reporting Team. Responsible for writing queries and supporting the reporting requirements for both HRMS/Payroll and Financials.

HRMS Consultant. Working on a 9.1 to 9.2 PeopleSoft Upgrade and supporting the production system. Working on all aspects of upgrade including Self Service Benefits customizations.

Worked as a consultant for Pfizer.

Lead person for Global Workforce mass changes. I worked with contacts from 14 countries coordinating Mass changes to the Global HR system. Designing solutions to problems unique to Pfizer because of the Global nature of their business.Worked on the Global Identification Management System (GIDM). This was a system to verify contractors globally. It allowed Pfizer to renew contractors every 6 months and provide contractor headcount to management. This was a custom system designed in PeopleTools 8.4.

Production support for the US payroll and HR systems. Paying over 150,000 employees on a bi-weekly basis. Troubleshooting payroll issues allowing the system to finish in a timely manner.Upgrade experience from PeopleSoft version 7.5 to 8.8. Assisted with requirements definition, design and testing of major system enhancements. Re-applied customizations into the new system.Designed and wrote a database replication program which creates a subset of production data. It also allows the scrambling of personal information to be used in a test system. Modified over 100 programs to run in the new Peoplesoft 8.8 from the old 7.5 custom programs.Conversion lead for converting 150,000 employees from several legacy systems into PeopleSoft.Designed and written over 150 sqr programs for everything ranging from payroll interfaces to union reporting and paysheet load processing.Performed detailed testing and analysis of both Payroll and HRMS systems for the upgrade process.Mentoring employees on SQR programming, SQL Loader, and production support.Goto guy for any payroll or HR related production issue.

Designing SQR 36 internal and external interfaces including General Ledger interface from PeopleSoft to SAP and writing a paysheet update interface from an external KRONOS Time and Labor system.- Writing program specifications for the Payroll and HR systems - Assisting on Payroll design and payroll training- Designed archiving history system to store historical payroll information- Designed transfer process for moving between PeopleSoft databases

Performed PeopleSoft specific modifications including panel creation, record creation, Sqr programming, UNIX script writing and creating SQL loader programs. - Designed, Created and tested a Labor Accounting interface to PeopleSoft's paysheets for over 35,000 union workers. - Performed benchmark tests on an HP9000 using ORACLE and PeopleSoft to pay 65,000 employees with an additional 40,000 inactive employees. This effort involved major tuning SQL (DMS) statements used in the calcpay and confirm process. The client had a 5 ½ hour window to do the processing. Reduced the original time from 14 ½ hours to 7 hours. - Created Payroll conversion design, project plan, and test plans.- Wrote over 35 sqr programs for conversions, paysheets updates, interfaces etc. - On-site payroll technical advisor

Created a Time and Expense system for a client was used for tracking over 150 consultants in the field.- PeopleSoft Technical Payroll expert at the client site.- Conversion and Interface Project Leader managing the technical team - Responsible for making PeopleSoft customizations- Created the Unit test plan to verify that conversion was successful.- Wrote/Developed several benefit interfaces for 401K reporting
