• Led development of newly emerging oxide-encapsulated electrocatalysts to achieve Department of Energy project objectives by improving catalyst selectivity from <40% to >95% for the oxygen and hydrogen evolution reactions• Presented analysis and prepared reports on key experimental findings, crucial to securing 2-years of additional Department of Energy funding, as part of a collaboration on Z-scheme photocatalysis with researchers at several universities and national labs• Developed novel analytical models using Python, MATLAB, and Excel to enhance the analysis of electrocatalyst performance by providing quantitative results for key performance metrics that were previously evaluated qualitatively• Provided mentorship on the theory, fabrication, characterization, and experimentation of oxide-encapsulated electrocatalysts to two students which led to their successful intellectual and experimental contributions to multiple abstracts and papers
