Presource Global Sourcing is responsible for Supplier identification and management, inclusive of e-sourcing, to support and enable strategic sourcing and purchasing processes including supplier identification, supplier management, contract negotiation, contract management, metrics management, business analysis, reporting, and leadership to ensure best cost is delivered to the business. Accountabilities• Identifies global sourcing opportunities through collaboratively working with cross-functional teams to ensure best cost and quality is delivered to the Presource business (marketing, sales operations, product management, manufacturing, distribution operations, various sourcing teams and finance).• Structure all contracts to manage risk and ensure consistency with overall sourcing strategy.• Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal teams and external customers.• Develop and execute requests for proposals, information or quotes (RFx)• Perform data analysis and utilize financial acumen to identify opportunities to leverage scale and drive cost savings• Educate key stakeholders; act as subject matter expert (SME).• Collect market intelligence and benchmarks, iterate strategies accordingly.• Support supplier negotiations; liaison with sourcing managers and suppliers as SME.• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for defined categories What is expected of you at this level• Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of global sourcing concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects.• Familiar with self-branded, national distribution and contract manufacturing agreements containing global pricing models.• Regularly present projects, strategies and timelines to peers and or leadership.• Work on sourcing initiatives and projects with varying degrees of complexity.
