I was hired at Kubota in Jan of 2009My first task was to design the fuel system for Kubota's first LPG powered Zero-Turn mower. This job included but was not limited to the followingFuel system design Design work: 3D and 2D drawings using Autocad mechanical 2009Certifications: NFPA safety inspection, UL certifications, EPA applications and certifications, various Kubota specific test codes and performance validations.Components: LPG tank, Tank valve and pick up tube, pressure relief valve, several fuel hoses, vaporizer/regulator, and solenoid.Testing: Field testing, competitor testing, Kubota specification testing, and dyno testingMy next project was to design and manage a renovation to an office we acquired in preparation for Kubotas first remote design facility.Design work: 2D MEP drawings and floor plans using Autocad mechanical 2009My next project was a member of a 3 man team to design a residential Zero-Turn mower for the U.S. market. Simultaneous to this project. I managed the construction of our 5000 sq/ft engineering/development shop. Design work: 3D and 2D using Catia V5 R19Certifications: EPA, CARB, ROHS, various Kubota specific test codes and performance validations.System responsibility: Front steering, Engine/muffler, Transmission, Brake system, Control system, Mower lift system, Belt drive, Electrical system 1 of 2, and grass collection system 1 of 2.Patents: I applied for 3 U.S. Patents on this project. Currently pendingTesting: Field testing, competitor testing, Kubota specification testing, and dyno testing Current projects cannot be included until official release.

I helped develop and assemble various racing engine platforms for for the American Le Mans series. My job duties consisted of project management, engine failure analysis, component design, engine management tuning, engine machining, data collection systems, track support, and engine dyno operation.
