Combined 28 years experience working in law enforcement. Currently specialising in incident management and reducing disruption on the railway by working on an award winning joint response unit between British Transport Police and London Underground, working alongside London Underground Tactical Managers and the Emergency Response Unit.The team attends the most serious of incidents causing disruption to the normal running of trains and stations on the London Underground system, including person under train, sudden and accidental deaths, crime related incidents, medical emergencies and infrastructure failures with a focus on protecting life and the recovery of the railway to normal service post-incident. The team often works with Network Rail and Elizabeth Line Tactical Managers on their respective jurisdiction.Members of the team must be licensed to drive under blue light conditions and hold a level 3 qualification in pre-hospital care with bespoke training in the extraction of causalities from underneath trains and stations to street level. Team members must be well versed with the Joint Emergency Services Interoperability Principles and some are Taser trained, trainers, assessors and forensic body recovery trained which are voluntary roles. When not undertaking our core role the team is deployed to assist area with response policing, foot patrols and event cover.
