Intellectual Property Attorney - Team Lead
CurrentI am currently focused on patent preparation and prosecution of a wide range of software patents. I have drafted more than 60 software patent applications and diligently prosecute applications with experience overcoming Alice and other rejections.I have successfully led a team of three other patent attorneys since November 2015. In that time, I have trained four new hires software patent drafting and prosecuting skills which has helped them overachieve. I have also exceeded my own targets consistently since starting at IBM.Since November 2016, I have managed outside counsel patent preparation and prosecution activities. Additional duties include managing patent dockets from disclosure submission through to the end of the patent's life and participating in patent portfolio maintenance reviews. Previously, I participated in patent infringement analysis.
