I was one of only two enterprise applications developers using C#/asp.net, SharePoint, Oracle PL/SQL, PHP, HTML/CSS/Javascript. Responsible for the full lifecycle of the applications that were developed that included taking developments from the concept stage, through requirements analysis, creating solution designs including database schemas, full development of the system, implementation and ongoing support. This included asp.net web applications and backend integrations to other systems.Experience of systems integrations using a variety of methods, including SOAP, Json web services and flat files, both internally and with external partner organisations.I was often the technical lead on strategic projects that required application development or integration.Responsible for 3rd line support of enterprise wide business applications including IIS, Apache HTTPD, Single Sign on. Also responsible for supporting a wide array of servers including Redhat and Windows Server 2003/2008/2012.I have always had an interest in Information Security and have been involved in security investigations when necessary. This included the retrieval and analysis of user actions from log files and investigating breached servers.

Also responsible for supporting users in day to day telephony systems. This role continued my software development and moved me towards software integrations. I had to use my php and mysql skills to create a new staff directory that integrated our HR database, telephone system and Active Directory to synchronise the information between these systems.

All aspects of desktop support including software and hardware fault finding and diagnostics and imaging of computers with specialist software.As part of this role I also developed a system to track the usage of all of the student computers on campus and display if a computer was in use or not. This was to allow students to easily locate a computer that they could use. For this I had to teach myself PHP, MySQL, and had to learn how to administer Windows Servers and IIS.
