As Convention Sales Manager, I am responsible for solicitation of new business, rate negotiation and contracting of Convention Sales Groups, Tour & Travel Groups, Wedding Groups, Sports Groups, Reunion Groups, Corporate Groups, Small Meetings, SMERF groups and other Ad Hoc Groups. I also prepare all the Banquet Event Orders and Banquet Checks as Delphi Administrator. RK Motors Collector Car Auctions will continue RK Motors’ focus on selling world-class classic and high-performance cars. The auction house will hand-select cars offered for sale at their events. Dealers and private collectors from around the world participated.

Responsible for securing partner companies to support and participate in Special Events & Promotions, Concerts, Conventions, Groups, Charity Events, New Program Development, Creative Branding, Relationship Building, Sports Marketing and other Sponsorship Campaigns to optimize brand awareness and increase traffic flow. I also booked groups in the tour & travel markets.In this position I reported to the CEO and manage other special projects and solicit new opportunities to benefit the company. I worked from a remote location in a home office in Mooresville, NC as a marketing consultant with the working title VP of Sponsorship Marketing given to me by the CEO, Andy Choy. I also worked closely with the Marketing Department, Operations Department, and Revenue Department.

I worked here for almost 15 years in two postions in the Sales & Marketing Departments.As Corporate Director of Partnership Marketing, I was responsible for Revenue Generation efforts in connection with innovative Marketing including Promotional Events like NASCAR and NHRA driver autograph sessions, Charitable Initiatives, Creative Branding, Relationship Building, and Sports Marketing to optimize brand awareness to the four properties.This position was created for me as I had been involved in Sports Marketing Campaigns since 2003 working with NASCAR teams in the Nationwide Series, Truck Series and Cup Series while working as the Tour & Travel Sales Manager. The Sports Marketing programs I initiated in this position include NASCAR race team partnerships, NHRA race team partnerships, Las Vegas Motor Speedway partnership, and NFR sponsorship. I also hosted several fund raisers for charities such as the Dale Earnhardt Foundation Celebrity Poker Tournament, Kyle Busch Foundation Toy Drive, Women's Auxiliary of Motorsports Charity Auction, Speedway Children's Charities Troxel Challenge.I also was involved in Public Relations efforts of opening two of the attractions on top of the Stratosphere Tower by partnering with NASCAR drivers to create a marketing buzz. The Insanity Ride in 2005 with Michael Waltrip as the "first official rider". And SkyJump in 2010 where I secured Kurt Busch to be one of the "first official jumpers" followed the next year by Carl Edwards.I also created the Dale Earnhardt display at the Stratosphere in Dec 2010 with the # 1 of 10 limited edition Dale Earnhardt Hall of Fame Camaro which was autographed by Teresa Earnhardt, Taylor Earnhardt, Kerry Earnhardt, Kelley Earnhardt Miller, Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Richard Childress and Chocolate Myers. Teresa Earnhardt loaned me Dale Earnhardt memorabilia from Dale's famous final 76th career win to display at the property. This was one of the properties most successful Marketing promotions for 5 years.

Prior to moving to the Corporate Director of Partnership Marketing for American Casino & Entertainment Properties I also held a position in the Sales Department working for Stratosphere Casino Hotel & Tower, their flagship property. I accepted a new position as Corporate Director of Partnership Marketing that was created for me when the new ownership puchased the property in 2008. As Tour & Travel Sales Manager, I was responsible for solicitation of new business, rate negotiation and contracting of Wholesale Accounts, Group Series, Tour & Travel Groups, Wedding Groups, Sports Groups, Reunion Groups, Corporate Groups, Small Meetings, SMERF groups and other Ad Hoc Groups. I am familiar with LMS property reservations systems, SMS property reservation systems, AS 400 systems, Delphi Sales & Catering Management System as a Key Operator, BEO Set Up, Menu Set Up, Room set ups inluding Theater, Classroom, U-Shaped, Auditorium, Dinner Rounds and other common banquet set ups. I worked closely with the Catering and Convention Services to ensure all guests were happy with their events from the time the group was booked until the event was completed.Also sold group meal tickets at other property restaurants and group tickets to the thrill ride attractions to the groups. In this position I also attended trade shows and respresented the property.
