I absolutely adore my current job. This position has provided me with numerous opportunities for professional growth and personal development which I will forever be thankful for. I have met so many of my closest friends and have worked with people who have given me a wide variety of perspectives on life. This is the energy I dream to bring with me as I move forward in my career.Currently, I am working on completing my bachelors's degree in marketing at San Diego State University, with an expected graduation date of December 2025, one semester early than the rest of my class. I am a dedicated, hardworking, loyal employee and student aiming to enhance the job experience portion of my resume through an entry level marketing position or marketing internship.I have a peak interest in fashion and beauty and have been in the resale industry for three years now. It began in 2020 when I created my own online resale shop based on the analysis of micro-trends within the fashion world. Over the two year lifespan of my business, I managed to amass over 8,000 followers on the Depop platform and sold nearly 1,400 items with 500 five star reviews. When I went to college I no longer had the physical space to conduct business and felt as though I was missing a piece of myself without my shop. That is when I found Buffalo Exchange, the company which has gifted me the opportunity to grow my fashion buying knowledge and continue my career path in the fashion industry.Additionally, I aim to specialize in social media marketing and PR. I find the digital realm of marketing and the psychology behind consumer behavior as it relates to social trends fascinating. I have great experience in social media as over the past three years I have managed my own social media platforms to generate 400,000 followers collectively across different sites. Through this I have gained a unique understanding of social media algorithms and how exactly to make a "viral" piece of media.Ultimately, I am looking forward to progressing in my marketing career and gaining fun, rewarding, insightful experiences along the way.
