Upon arriving at the new position, I maintained my good performance and began improving my communication and coordination with the rest of the squad and other coworkers. All tasks and issues assigned to me were solved with great mastery and agility, taking the lead in numerous investigations and discussions that covered our area. I became the backbone of the squad, as my then new tech lead said.I continued working on major refactorings and improvements across our resources. I actively participated in the planning of every step to be taken. There were not a few problems that I found, reported and much less corrected in the course of those months.In short time, I started to play the role of a senior software engineer, actively assisting everyone in the squad and acting as a right-hand man of the tech lead. There were many interactions with other engineers and leads from other squads when issues tangented our area and some kind of approval or code review was needed.• Implementation, maintenance and refactoring of: • complex flows in Node.js and TypeScript (consent and synchronization of bank accounts and transactions by European Open banking, transaction enrichment); • GraphQL API queries and mutations; • new components and interfaces in Vue.js;• Testing and code review;• Requirements analysis and planning;• Team guidance and coordination;• Investigations related to various topics and issues;• Cooperation and communication with international teams.

I started in the Platform squad assisting with the high demand due to the release of the new version and after that I was assigned as an engineer in the Bank Connectivity squad. Among all, this was the squad with the steepest learning curve in the company, also due to the lack of documentation. However, in a short time, I mastered the product knowledge and code base, and helped a lot with the many challenges the squad was experiencing, such as high error rates and poorly organized code.My tech lead and I divided the tasks and worked actively, renewing in a few months the fame of the squad and bringing numerous improvements, refactorings and new features to our code and product. From then on, our squad gained new members, and I started to assist the new engineers, either in the introduction to our tools and settings for development, or in direct support and block solving at the development of their activities, pointing out solutions, approaches and improvements. I also actively participated in testing and reviewing tasks for everyone in the squad and collaborated with other tech leads.I began to gain notoriety, always participating in discussions related to our squad, proactively helping members inside and outside it, and developing improvements and corrections with high quality and with a very high approve rate in tests and reviews.
