Data Migration Specialist
Current● Provide administrative assistance and support to the Data Services team● Account Billing and Reporting (Billing SME), including custom requirements for MAP accounts● Management and tracking of Shipping and Customs policies, procedures, and pricing● Inventory management (shipping supplies, licenses, etc.)● Perform Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data entry, reporting, records maintenance,and customer request tracking and processing● Salesforce case management, contact detail updates, and data entry● Update Salesforce account descriptions with related pricing● Propose Salesforce case management improvements (SME - Primary contact for the InformationServices Team)● Some data investigation and project coordination● Provide documentation support to the Data Services team (e.g. meeting minutes, Salesforcereporting & dashboards)● Create & update spreadsheets, documents, templates; maintain team meeting notes● Research and document related information on an ad hoc basis● Organize, coordinate, analyze, and validate reports on an on-going basis● Contribute to effective communication within the department and the organization● Present updates on billing/shipping procedure changes during Team Meetings as necessary● Support training of new hires on the customer data shipping process● Customer Data management (tracking, labeling, cataloguing, degaussing)● Cataloguing, formatting, and encrypting hard drives as needed● Mounting / dismounting hard drives from workstations as needed● Inventory tracking (receipt, storage, destruction)● Reset SFTP sites● Basic Workstation management (software update reminders, licenses, etc.)● Assist in the creation of export cases● Follow up on customer verifications of exports● Send out customer outreach emails on legal holds, retention terms etc.● Assist in the tracking and follow ups of abandoned terminations● Send out customer outreach emails on imports
