Business Development Manager
Current- Finding new customer leads of products and pursuing opportunities effectively to achieve sales.- Being entrepreneurial by maximizing the potential sales - Work to targets to achieve signed contracts- Create a sales plan of how target markets and clients can be approach and business won- Writing and completion of bids- Achieve our organisational goals- Work with the Marketing Manager to run sales force campaigns for prospects and clients- Follow up on leads and sales inquiries- Demonstrate technical, professional selling skills and product knowledge in all relevant areas. - Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling,direct mail, email, and networking. - Assist in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed. - Create and conduct effective proposal presentations and campaigns that identify prospects business problems, the effects of the problems, and find solutions to their problems. - Be responsible for sourcing and developing initial client relationships and referrals. - Demonstrates the ability to gather, submit detailed business information for underwriting, pricing, and presentation of solutions to identified prospects' business problems. - Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within their assigned territory, including the use of relevant sales software to maintain accurate records to maximize territory potential. - Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics
