A life long and continuing obsession with making himself the best human he can be has given Ron Davis a varied set of expertise. But he never thought he'd end up in the biohacking space.In Jan 2022 he read about Osteostrong in Tony Robbins' Life Force, and thought, "If this works it needs to be everywhere, especially Abilene."Not just believing the hype, Ron and his wife started going back and forth to the nearest Osteostrong in Colleyville, TX. A 3 hour journey each way. About 6 weeks in he was convinced it was for real because he gained 7 pounds of lean mass. "Working out" 10 minutes once a week.Then he started the journey to open his own Osteostrong in Abilene Texas, which happened at the end of Nov 2022.To share what he knows he’s started Distinctions for Life.Ron is a polymath, which means he knows a lot of different stuff. He’s been a programmer, photographer, paramedic, and podcaster. An avid Toastmaster he’s had leadership roles in a variety of organizations in Abilene and North Texas. An entrepreneur with a number of ventures under his belt, he’s developed a passion for helping people start and optimize their lives and businesses.

I was part of a multi-site, multi-platform team. Most of our team was in Toronto Canada, with the Mac team in Austin.Coded primarily in C++ using Metrowerks CodeWarrior and the PowerPlant framework.While developing extensive new functionality in the code, I also wrote a book about Tango for the user. It was published by Macmillan publishing and was available in book stores worldwide.

After about a year of solving developers problems and documenting and reporting problems to the engineering team, I was moved into a programmer position.In that position I wrote most of the User Interface code for metrowerks' MacOS port of Microsoft's SourceSafe source control system. This involved writing a front in UI application that interfaced via a custom API with code ported from Microsoft.Once this project was completed, I worked on the CodeWarrior IDE team. Writing IDE UI code in C++ using the company's PowerPlant framework. This was a multi-platform team working on MacOS, Windows and Linux versions at the same time. -
