I started Reactuate Software to consolidate all my software development work, both as a consultant and independent software development. In the process I've learned people rarely just need a website or an app, and have found myself giving much more business, development, and marketing process advice.Major projects are listed below in the Projects section. Started in January 2015 to take advantage of local talent in Abilene, Reactuate Games existed to produce new worlds in the form of video games.We did game development using Unity in C#. I was the Founder of the company and worked in and led teams from all parts of the company. This included technical members coding in Unity, as well as artists using a variety of programs including Blender for 3D and the Adobe Suite for other graphics. I also managed and trained the marketing arm which included producing written, video and audio content.

My time at Alsoft was primarily dedicated to the font management software MasterJuggler. This involved a complete rewrite in Objectiv-C and Cocoa. Since it interfaced directly into the OS's font manager, I also wrote low level C code.I also did work as needed on DiskWarrior, the company's flagship product. This included developing a new serial number system and updating system.I also worked on various internal projects that were not released.

WebObjects engineer in the iServices group. The position was created as part of an Apple initiative to get into consulting. It involved placing engineers around the country to be close to potential clients. Apple's consulting department never really took off. I ended up primarily working on an internal WebObjects based application for the training department. This involved some remote work and a lot of travel between Houston and Cupertino.

Mac engineer on the Tango web application development environment. This involved creating a Mac IDE for Tango. I was part of a multi-site, multi-platform team. Most of our team was in Toronto Canada, with the Mac team in Austin.Coded primarily in C++ using Metrowerks CodeWarrior and the PowerPlant framework.While developing extensive new functionality in the code, I also wrote a book about Tango for the user. It was published by Macmillan publishing and was available in book stores worldwide.

Started in Tech Support for CodeWarrior metrowerks flagship IDE for MacOS. After about a year of solving developers problems and documenting and reporting problems to the engineering team, I was moved into a programmer position.In that position I wrote most of the User Interface code for metrowerks' MacOS port of Microsoft's SourceSafe source control system. This involved writing a front in UI application that interfaced via a custom API with code ported from Microsoft.Once this project was completed, I worked on the CodeWarrior IDE team. Writing IDE UI code in C++ using the company's PowerPlant framework. This was a multi-platform team working on MacOS, Windows and Linux versions at the same time.
