As a Market Risk Reporting Analyst, I work with teams in New York, Delaware, London, and India to report the Bank’s risk change Day-over-Day. I am responsible for generating reports for various businesses within the Corporate and Investment Bank such as Global Rates and Rates Exotics, Fixed Income Financing, Global Equities, Credit Trading and Correlation, and Global Credit along with producing weekly deliverables for the Federal Reserve, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, and the FDIC. In addition to that work, I also assist with the End-of-Day reporting process with the team in Phoenix to report Day-over-Day change in the Bank’s risk at the Firmwide level and at the Corporate and Investment Bank level. Through that process, I also create a daily summary showcasing and analyzing the top Risk Drivers and Offsets for the Day-over-Day change to the firm using three different risk metrics.As part of an initiative to reduce operational risk, I spearheaded the creation of new risk controls in our End-of-Day processing tools. Using Microsoft Excel, I created formulas that provide additional measures to reduce our operational risk and ensure that the information we are reporting is accurate through reconciling multiple data sources from our risk reporting software.
