Responsibility for new product design & continuous improvement for power take off modules (PTO) and pump drives. Experiences include mechanical design on 6, 7, 8, & 9 series tractor platforms. Responsibilities include design ownership (gears, shafts, clutches, bearings, housings), factory support, customer support for problem resolution, warranty improvement, & being a mentor to new colleagues & interns. Factory & customer support communication domestically & internationally. Skills include Creo modeling & drafting with approximately 10,000 hours of experience, ANSYS Workbench, Six Sigma Green Belt training, Microsoft Office, Romax, & CANalyzer.

Responsibility is supporting product delivery programs (PDP) and continuous improvement projects (CI) for the design of mechanical front wheel drive units (MFWD) and power take off modules (PTO). Tasks include tolerance stack-up analysis, design of components, engineering calculations, Pro/Engineer modeling and drafting-with approximately 1000 hours of experience mainly involving general modeling and drawing updates, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T) and managing C-Projects, PDM Link tasks and Functional Geometry Reviews (FGR).

Help in the day to day operations of the family farm including operating machinery, field work, labor intensive tasks, and general farm operation.

Summer job only--Assisted in the construction of grain bins as well as concrete pads, dryers, air systems, and other accessories that are part of the grain storage process.
