As a design engineer at Microfabrica, I develop designs for electromechanical semiconductor wafer test probes used in IC chip testing, using 3D CAD, non-linear FEA, and GD&T methods. I optimize the design based on FEA results and MICA Freeform process capabilities, and generate drawings and product specifications for client approval. I also set up the build for manufacturing, order and verify photomasks, and perform DFMEA.I have a master's degree in mechanical engineering from California State University, Long Beach, where I established a novel method and prototype to use inorganic salts as binders for jet binder 3D printing of metals. I have six years of experience in designing microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), additive manufacturing (AM) processes and methods development, analysis, optimization, modeling and validation, as well as composites architecture modeling, structural analysis, testing, and statistical analysis. I am proficient in various 3D, 2D CAD and CAE tools, such as SOLIDWORKS, CATIA, L-edit, ABAQUS, and ANSYS. I have published couple of papers on metal matrix composites and polymer matrix composites, 3D printed part performance and have multiple certifications, including EIT. I am passionate about applying my skills and knowledge to create innovative and cost-effective solutions for complex engineering problems.
