After serving four years active duty in the Army I decided to get back into carpentry while I finished my four years in the reserve. Wanting to take advantage of what I had learned over the years in the construction industry, yet still utilize my GI Bill, I decided to move from Rhode Island to San Diego to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering. In 2018 I graduated from San Diego State with a BS in Civil Engineering. Ultimately I would like to pursue my masters, with a focus on marine structural engineering.
