Talent Acquisition Lead
Current• Forecast hiring needs based on business growth plans• Manage, train and evaluate our team of interns and junior recruiters• Lead all sourcing strategies• Manage our external partnerships with colleges, job boards and HR software vendors• Implement online and offline employer branding activities• Serve on the company Education and Inclusivity Committees and assists in regards to new employee onboarding and education• Prepare and review our annual recruitment budget• Build talent pipelines for current and future job openings• Oversee all stages of candidate experience (including application, interviews and communication)• Participate in and host recruitment events to drive awareness of our company• Measure key recruitment metrics, like source of hire and time-to-hirePartner with hiring managers on the development of selection criteria and recruiting strategies for available positions • Conduct exit interviews and track the data to help evaluate our shortfalls• Correspond with job applicants, government agencies, general public, and staff regarding employment, available positions, and distribute the needed information regarding the correspondence to those in need• Coordinate with vendors regarding participation in career fairs, advertisements, etc.…• Facilitate interview training and applicant tracking classes to educate managers on facets of the hiring process as needed• Identify and develop strategies for tapping new markets to attract qualified applicants; evaluate marketing strategies for effectively meeting organizational staffing needs• Research and recommend new recruitment and selection methods• Source, screen, interview, and select candidates for referral to hiring managers• Saved the company $500,000 in the first 2 years• Assist managers with the final selection of candidates; provide consultation to hiring managers regarding salary recommendations around internal equity and external competitiveness
