Compliance Analyst
CurrentThe role sits within the Grid Delivery operations in the Quality and Compliance team. The job is ensuring Transpower, as Grid Owner in New Zealand, maintains compliance with statutory obligations and regulatory requirements to exchange asset capability information within Transpower (i.e. Grid Divisions and System Operations/SO), Customers and Service Providers - in compliance with the Electricity Industry Participation Code (EIPC). In addition, identifying compliance risks and facilitating process and system improvements to mitigate and prevent further risks and breaches of the EIPC. The delineation of information exchange between the grid owner and system operator is done by establishing and implementing robust gatekeeper processes and procedures. Responsibilities include, identifying compliance risks and managing compliance systems; monitoring and management of compliance and provision of compliance awareness and training to internal and external stakeholders, delivery of robust gatekeeper activities to exchange asset capability information, identification of improvements in grid systems and processes to mitigate and prevent risks and breaches, monitoring and management of project commissioning performance to meet regulatory obligations; investigating Grid Owner breaches and ensure root cause analysis and leanings are understood and adopted by the wider business; identification of the need for and initiating of potential changes to the Electricity Industry Participation Code on behalf of Grid Owner teams.
