As part of a 6 person team, I conducted research for the elaboration of an international cooperation strategy proposal for the Colombian Agency for Reincorporation and Normalization (ARN) for the reincorporation process of former FARC-EP members. We developed an evaluation mechanism for the identification of good practices regarding previous Reintegration and Reinsertion processes in Colombia, provided new DDR case studies from other countries, and proposed an International Cooperation strategy for the process of Reincorporation of ex-combatants into civilian and political life. This strategy was, ultimately, approved and implemented by the institution.
