I am currently pursuing my MA in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the University of the Arts London. My focus has been on long term research projects using archival images, on topics that range from personal work developed from my family archive to geopolitical work drawing on multiple media sources.Working with the African Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Cooling and Cold Chain (ACES), I have spearheaded impactful projects bridging cultural understanding and organisational development. Notable among these is the ACES Language School to teach Kinyarwanda to ACES staff, fostering a deeper connection with the local community. Additionally, I initiated the ACES Kigali Photo Programme, a collaborative effort resulting in compelling visual narratives that shed light on critical issues.My experiences, including my BA in Classical Studies and English, and my internship at the Rocky Mountain Institute, have refined my ability to conduct thorough research, draft reports, and collaborate effectively across teams. Proficient in French and actively Kinyarwanda, I am committed to fostering cross-cultural understanding and impactful communication in all endeavours.I am actively seeking opportunities in communications or journalism where I can leverage my skills in research, written communication, and project management to drive meaningful impact.
