I briefed the Local Authority CEO and Senior Management Team and elected members on these documents and provided summary briefings to senior management in local partnership agencies.I led on implementation of ‘Prevent’ Multi-Agency Action Plan providing regular reviews and updates on delivery to Metropolitan Police, Probation Service, Health Service providers, education providers and the Home Office (Office of Homeland Security).I coordinated the local authority Channel case management processes and ensured actions were followed up to safeguard vulnerable children and adults from the risk of radicalisation. This required regular liaison with statutory partners including the SO15 Police Unit, Children and Adults safeguarding teams, managers within Barnet-Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust and staff within the National Probation Service.I developed and delivered training on preventing radicalisation to frontline Social workers, probation officers and voluntary/faith sector staff, managers, and volunteers.
