I'm the sole full-stack engineer in a 10-person R&D team of mathematicians and data scientists. Our main focus is automotive safety and driving monitoring.My main responsibilities include:Design, develop and maintain computer vision and machine learning pipelines.Develop and maintain internal support tools to manage datasets.Generate ML training reports.Develop & maintain web APIs and services that connect to automotive hardware.Research & implement methods for optimizing software performance.Initiated and gained management buy-in for the following projects:* Built the company’s first dataset versioning & management tool.* Updated old ML pipelines to use cloud infrastructure & best practices, resulting in a more secure pipeline that works seamlessly with ML engineering workflows and reduced training cost for our models.* Integrated open labeling tools with our pipeline and dataset management tool, saving time for data labeling.* Created a template for standardizing models across ML pipeline.* Created a Python library to link model predictors in a distributed and embedded computing environment enabling ML engineers to seamlessly integrate different predictors.

Datagoal is a small firm specializing in digital surveys via web and Android. I was the first developer for this startup, developing the first version of the product with the founder. Later, I helped onboard and train additional engineers.

Equipe B is a small company that specializes in applying architecture and georeferenced data to build mapping applications, 3d modeling, and design spaces. I worked with a multidisciplinary team of architects, designers and programmers. I provided technical guidance for scoping project proposals, developed proof of concept technology to iterate with clients, and handled final implementation of project deliverables. Some projects I worked on: SketchUp plugin to facilitate partition wall design, virtual tour of historical and heritage sites for the city of Belo Horizonte using Google Maps; AR of the human body for a museum.

My main project was creating digital signage software using LAMP stack, Flash and Java. Some features I developed include: an advertising templating system, media and playlist management, continuous playback of alternate playlists, a play-on-demand web service, playback scheduling, and playback reporting. In addition to product development at F6, I also collaborated with the tech support team to resolve customer issues.

I developed web applications & services using HTML/CSS/JS, Flash, Flex, LAMP stack, and ASP.NET (C # and Vb). Helped manage technical needs for approx. 20 active clients across a variety of sectors, including: education, finance, fashion, commerce, media, and tech services. Advised clients on web accessibility and SEO best practices.

I developed tutorials using games to teach construction process. Developed digital interfaces to introduce the use of computers for a series of workshops about digital inclusion.
