Creative DesignerMain responsibilities included:- Creating quality design work for prestige clientelle in the automotive, aero and consumer product industries.- Creating high quality pen and photoshop sketchwork for presentations to clients.- Creating high class release and concept A-Surfaces for client projects as well as internal company projects.- Exploring and creating surface data models for various initial ideas before a design is chosen and refined.

Main responsibilities included:- Concept generation for an ever expanding portfolio of areas of design expertise. This involved automotive, aeronautical, product, graphic, marine, public and private transport design.- Sketch ideation and high quality presentaiton photoshop renderings for client and project bids.- Support of the day to day client projects, generating fresh designs in line with the clients brief.- Supporting the team with high quality Keyshot and Vray visuals of concepts produced in support of client projects.

- Creation of initial research and identification of design opportunities. (Trend analysis - market research - competitor analysis - story and mood boards). - Sketching and rendering of design proposals, this ranges from analog sketching to refined photoshop renderings.- Alias Modelling (first pass conceptual ID block volumes through to final release a-surface data. This involves iterating Alias data until a styled a-surface is signed off for productionisation. This is achieved whilst working with engineering teams to achieve the intended design whilst considering cost, tooling constraints and achieving executive buy in.- Responsible for account management of software within the studio, working closely with Autodesk and Majenta Solutions to deliver the right software packages for the Industrial design process.- Responsible for own time management of projects including deliverables on key dates within timing plans, liaising with engineering teams to create feasible, fresh, stylish and exciting designs which encompass the JCB design language whilst working within the given constraints of the project.- Responsible for the recruitment and mentoring of an undergraduate within the design studio.Projects:Led several key exterior and interior program's.
