The Creative Enterprise Zone is a city-recognized district and a nonprofit organization that fosters community and supports economic and environmental well-being. Home to hundreds of creative makers and entrepreneurs, it is a fast-growing residential community, an Opportunity Zone, and the largest center of employment and tax base in Saint Paul.CEZ promotes and improves the identity, health, and livability of the Zone through public art, environmentally focused greening initiatives, and community-led investment. The CEZ Model aims to build wealth, prevent displacement, and gain security and control of real estate through ownership and fair and equitable practices. It's also founder and host to the annual Chroma Zone Mural and Art Festival as well as the 100 Trees Initiative.
