Samuel is currently an Assistant Ecologist for Ground Control and has been with the company since October 2023. Sam has three season's experience across his current and previous positions, engaging himself in a variety of UK based projects for commercial and residential developments as well as on the rail.Samuel has expanded his knowledge of Ecological legislation and survey techniques through a proven track record of undertaking successful Phase 1 habitat surveys, UKHab classification surveys, protected species surveys and as acting ECoW, including on night rail works. Samuel has experience producing technical reports including preliminary ecological appraisals, biodiversity net gain assessment reports, habitat management and monitoring plans and invasive non-native species management plans.Samuel holds his Level 1 GCN license (CL08), PTS certification, CSCS card and is a qualified teacher, proven to adapt his education skills within his subsequent career paths.
